Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Driver in Seattle, WA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick additional shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $23.72 per hour, with a schedule that includes day-evening blocks. The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response within a designated site.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the terminal location in accordance with established procedures and applicable security-related requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support security-related operations.
