Job summary

Allied Universal in Arlington, VA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Audit to provide reliable security services at a corporate technology location. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts, enabling earnings growth while maintaining a flexible part‑time schedule.

Pay is $21.75 per hour with a base shift and opportunities to increase hours through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location while carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and document events per site requirements.
