Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Arlington, VA site. This role offers reliable hours and the ability to pick up extra shifts, with a path toward full-time opportunities within a leading security company.

You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while adhering to site policies. The position supports part-time workers and career growth with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related policy violations.
