Job summary

Allied Universal in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation. You will provide security and customer service at a commercial real estate site, with fixed shifts and the ability to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

This role offers reliable hours, a base schedule, and the opportunity to grow toward a full-time schedule while earning $16.30 per hour, with paid training and access to our perks program.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.
