Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver in Montgomery, AL. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to claim additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.93 per hour, with a schedule including Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Ideal candidates have at least two years of security experience, are comfortable using a computer or tablet, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, documenting unusual conditions and security-related incidents for follow-up.
• Assist with visitor direction, tenant inquiries, and emergency communications while maintaining a professional presence.
