Job summary

Allied Universal oversees security for a commercial real estate site in Montgomery, AL. We are seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation to provide reliable, flexible hours and contribute to a safer environment.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Compensation is $16.30 per hour with duties including incident reporting, access monitoring, and routine patrols.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to site personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and shift handoffs.
