Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time Facility Monitoring in Montgomery, AL. This flexible, dependable role is designed for individuals looking to supplement income or gain hands-on experience with the industry leader.

You will hold a fixed site shift, plus the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while building experience across multiple sites. Prior security or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
