Job summary

Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed for a fixed shift with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. The role offers reliable, flexible hours at a logistics and distribution site, with a pay rate of $15.70 per hour.

The position requires a six-month commitment to a designated site, with the possibility to increase earnings by taking additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws; valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following escalation/reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, loading areas, parking, and perimeter.
• Verify credentials and direct authorized visitors and deliveries; document activity.
• Observe conditions and report property damage or policy violations to leadership.
