Job summary

Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Visibility. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols at a financial institution site, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with part-time hours and potential to scale up to 40 hours per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including lobby, entrances, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other unusual activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift logs and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
