Allied Universal in Thousand Oaks, CA is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for a fixed-site schedule with reliable hours. You can earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform and working across multiple sites. Pay rate is $20.50 per hour, with anchor shifts on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting security concerns and hazards.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating with clients and Allied Universal leadership.
