Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Long Beach, CA. This role offers reliable, flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts across sites.

Pay is $20.50 per hour, with a schedule that includes a Wednesday night shift. The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site representatives, shoppers, tenants, and local responders while supporting a welcoming retail environment.
