Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Allentown, PA site to provide reliable security coverage with flexible hours. This role offers a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings while gaining hands-on experience in a leading security company.

You will respond to incidents, perform access control, patrol duties, and deliver professional customer service to clients, while following site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, policy violations, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
