Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access.
