Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Control in Somerset, PA to protect patients, visitors, employees and vendors at healthcare locations. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and uphold site policies while deterring incidents and supporting daily operations with a professional presence and customer-focused approach. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour. Schedule: Tue 4:30 AM - 1:30 PM and Fri 4:30 AM - 1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees and vendors while following access-control procedures and site policies.
• Verify credentials and monitor entry points to deter unauthorized access and support daily operations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, manage visitor sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
