Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time enhanced role at a healthcare location. The position offers a fixed schedule and the opportunity to earn via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, with a pay rate of $16.95 per hour.

You will manage access control, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and conduct regular patrols while delivering courteous customer service to employees, visitors, patients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and maintain access logs.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access.
