Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Westlake, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver superior customer service while protecting clients in financial institutions and other sites. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour. Sat and Sun 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM. CPR certification is preferred; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and a drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations, documenting observations and escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entry points, common spaces, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/incident records.
• Support a professional workplace by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and emergency responders.
