Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Westlake, TX. The role covers access control, patrols, and incident response to protect a financial institution and surrounding areas.

You will help ensure a safe, welcoming environment while delivering professional service to employees and visitors. The position offers part-time hours with a fixed weekend schedule and a pay rate of $19.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following escalation procedures.
• Conduct patrols of business areas and perimeters to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee authorization per site policies.
• Support a professional environment by clear communication with staff and visitors.
