Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Licensed Driver Patrol Security Officer in San Jose, CA. You will patrol a busy retail location, provide exceptional customer service, and deter security incidents with a visible presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ for unarmed roles, and 21+ for armed roles, plus background checks and drug screening. Part-time shifts include DayTime and Friday-Saturday schedules with a $26.00/hour pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors and employees.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols through shopping center areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and effectively.
• Assist with access control and visitor support to deter unauthorized activity.
