Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver) in San Jose, CA. You will monitor and patrol residential communities, deliver customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

The role offers a weekend schedule (Sat/Sun 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM) with pay rate of $24.50 per hour. You will use driving patrols, perform access control, and respond to resident concerns per policy. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, buildings, parking areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations for follow‑up.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and resident service requests while maintaining a professional presence in a residential environment.
