Job summary

Allied Universal in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Patrol. You will provide friendly customer service to students, staff and visitors while enforcing site policies, monitoring alarms, and directing access.

The role requires a valid driver license, a high school diploma, and comfort using computers or tablets. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and complete clear incident reports to support a safe campus environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: valid driver licence and age requirements per policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver licence will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or other individuals while carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and campus policy compliance.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
