Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role involves patrolling, deterring incidents, and providing outstanding customer service at a government location. A DoD Secret clearance and security experience are required.

You will work a daytime shift with a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance through our Shift-claim platform and training programs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government personnel and visitors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report/escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter to detect unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site requirements.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
