Job summary

Allied Universal® North East, MD is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer focused on customer service and patrol duties. You will monitor sites, assist with access control, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding safety and security standards.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, assist with access control and visitor interactions, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
