Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Ohio. The role involves providing a security presence, customer service, and vigilant observation across client sites.

Duties include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and emergency response readiness. A non-armed position with weekend availability is required. Qualifications include 18+ years old, high school diploma or GED, ability to pass drug screens, CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain, and fluency

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter, including marijuana.
• Must not have felonies.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8-12 hours.
• Must lift at least 50 lbs. (70 lbs. for armed work).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must clearly see at least 20 feet away.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Must have integrity and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: reflect the company positively by assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and Report: stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies and reception areas.
• Security Officer: conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Access Control: ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas; check IDs.
• Safety Patrol: enforce location policies and report safety concerns.
• Emergency Response: assist in emergencies, CPR/First Aid/AED care, communicate with responders.
• Security Liaison: communicate with client staff and update site supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
