Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Bowling Green, OH. This non-armed role offers two shifts (0500-1300 and 1300-2100) at $18.00 per hour. You will be safeguarding client properties and supporting a professional security presence on site.

Responsibilities include customer service, observation and reporting, access control, patrols, and emergency response. Candidates must meet education and fitness requirements and pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felony convictions.
• No misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, or weapons.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Must read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies, reception areas and control centers.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required.
• Control access and verify IDs of employees and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR/First Aid/AED when needed.
