Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a corporate building. Competenze

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and document visitor access, employee entry, deliveries, and other security-related activities in accordance with site policies.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence.
