Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a commercial building patrol in New York. You will provide safety, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access, responding to alarms, completing reports, and working a flexible schedule. A NYS Security Guard License and HS diploma are required, with background and drug screens as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum NYS Security Guard License required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the commercial building and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete activity reports and shift communications maintaining a professional presence.
