Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Corporate Building in New York, NY to safeguard clients across multiple industries. This part-time role offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. A NYS Security Guard License and 1+ year security experience are required or preferred; CPR/First Aid desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year security-related experience.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Background check and drug screen per law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; support a professional environment.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate to site contacts or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols around the building, including interior and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation per site requirements.
