Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the Corporate Financial Building in New York, NY. You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents while maintaining a secure environment.

The role offers fixed shifts with optional additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling earnings flexibility. Minimum requirements include NYS security license, 1+ year security experience, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• A drug screen may be required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents and security-related concerns following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entry points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unusual activity.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs per site requirements.
