Qualifications

• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner following escalation protocols.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; assist with visitor direction and access control procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate information to site leadership.
