Qualifications

• Must have a state, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screening required where law allows.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws and must be obtained prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site access-control and screening procedures.
• Inspect packages, shipments, and other items for prohibited or unauthorized materials, documenting findings and escalating concerns through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
