Securitas USA is seeking an Experienced Security Officer for a part-time role in Hopkins, MN. The position offers a wage range of $24.65–$21.90 per hour and a weekend schedule (Sat-Sun 1400-2200).

The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, access control, and patrolling various sites. The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and strong computer skills, with emphasis on customer service and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including urinalysis drug screen and 10 year background investigation.
• CPR / FA certification.
• 1 year of security experience.
• Previous law enforcement / military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
