Job summary

Securitas USA seeks a PT Security Officer in Plymouth, MN to monitor premises, control access, and patrol multiple client sites. You will enforce site rules, assist visitors, and report safety issues during shifts.

Applicants should be at least 18, hold a HS diploma or GED, and have strong customer service and teamwork abilities. Independent work and calm composure under pressure are essential; CPR and driving certifications are preferred, with pre-employment screening required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and 10 year background investigation.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Infant, Child, and Adult CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
