Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Boston, MA. You will provide unarmed security, monitor access points, and support residents with outstanding customer service.

This role offers flexible night shifts and opportunities to grow within a collaborative, safety-focused team. A high school diploma and background check are required; CPR/First Aid and alarm panel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
