Job summary

Allied Universal in Boston, MA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to provide unarmed security services at residential locations. You will patrol, monitor access, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to residents and staff.

This position offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $22.72 per hour. Certifications such as CPR/First Aid are preferred and a background check is required as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, observe activity, and deter unauthorized entry or policy violations.
• Document daily activities and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
