Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Communications Security Officer in Boston, MA. You will monitor, deter incidents, support access control, and provide excellent customer service at a financial institution.

The role offers flexible scheduling and the Chance to use exclusive tools to claim shifts. Minimum two years in security, high school diploma, and background check are required or preferred with CPR certification and computer skills recommended.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and first responders while supporting a professional environment at the location.
