Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• A Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while enforcing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs and direct authorized individuals.
• Inspect vehicles and delivery traffic at access points per site procedures to control access.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and leadership as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; report concerns.
