Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Boise, ID to provide customer service, manage access control, verify credentials, and monitor entry points at a technology/telecom location. You will help deter security incidents and support a welcoming environment with professional communication.

The role offers flexible shifts and a paid hourly rate of $19.00, with responsibilities including patrols, incident response, and adherence to site policies and procedures to ensure safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and escalate according to site procedures in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate professionally with personnel and visitors to deter unauthorized access and guide orderly movement.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
