Allied Universal in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to protect client sites and support entry/exit control. You will operate devices to document activity and provide courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

The position requires a high school diploma, being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), and passing background checks and drug screening. Flexible weekend shifts offer growth opportunities within a large security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, escalating irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
