Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer in Westminster, CO to help maintain a safe and secure environment for client sites. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, reporting hazards, and delivering customer service to employees and guests.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. Applicants should be prepared for a screening process and training.

Competenze

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background).

Site Locations: Louisville, Westminster, Brighton, Boulder, Denver, & Aurora, CO

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.75/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements
