Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Security Officer based in Grand Island, NE. The role involves patrolling the site, monitoring CCTV, and reporting safety issues while maintaining a professional demeanor and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate has high school level education, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers part-time hours with competitive pay and benefits through Securitas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Professional demeanor and attention to detail are essential.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check required.

Responsabilités

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate tense situations.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Operate technology devices during shifts and monitor CCTV as needed.
• Check-in with Corporate Office every 2 hours.
• Patrol the site per shift.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving with trucks.
• Verify identification and bill of lading paperwork.
• Inform guests of site safety rules.
• Carry out site duties and emergencies as required.

Part Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Grand Island, NE

Wage:$19.00/HR

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Call Corporate Office every 2 hours to check-in.
• Perform one patrol of the site building per shift.
• Communicate shipping / receiving with oncoming trucks.
• Check Identification and verify bill of lading paperwork.
• Inform all guests and visitors of site safety rules.
• Remote monitor trucks (CCTV) entering / exiting the site.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Strong communication skills needed.
• Excellent report writing skills needed.
• Must be driver certified.
