Job summary

Securitas USA in Omaha, NE is seeking a dedicated Security Officer Flex to maintain a safe, secure environment across client sites. You will monitor premises, manage access control, and patrol varied locations to ensure policy compliance and safety.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting hazards, and assisting employees and guests with information. The role requires strong communication, independence, and reliable behavior during evening or overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Evening and overnight shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer Flex - Full Time

Primary Location: Omaha, NE

Wage: $19.00/HR

The Security Officer Flex helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be available for evening and overnight shifts.
• Must pass a motor vehicle report.
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Must be able to conduct extensive foot patrols.
