Securitas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer at our Lexington site in Lexington, NE. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

Expected duties include conflict resolution, de-escalation, observation, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety policies and procedures. Schedule runs Saturdays and Sundays, 7am–7pm with typical benefits and pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement.

Responsibilities

Wage: $20.00/HR

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
