Securitas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Grand Rapids, MN. This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, monitoring access, and patrolling multiple client sites. The position requires alertness, reliable teamwork, and professional conduct during all shifts.

The schedule includes Wednesday 7AM–2PM and Thursday 6PM–7AM, with an hourly wage of $18.35. Candidates must meet basic requirements and undergo pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Safe driving certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce access control and patrolling across client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the site.

Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MN

Wage: $18.35/HR

Schedule: Wed: 7AM - 2PM & Thurs: 6PM - 7AM

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
