Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in Eau Claire, WI to protect people and property. You will patrol, monitor systems, control access, and respond to emergencies while upholding safety protocols.

Position offers benefits and a schedule including Sun-Mon and Fri 0800-1600 with 24 hours per week. Prior security/military background is a plus; you will undergo pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have strong observational skills, communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening processes including drug screen and background check.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience is a plus.

• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Part Time Security Officer

Site Location: Eau Claire, WI

Wage: $18.50-$19.50/Hour

Schedule: Sun-Mon, Fri 0800-1600 (24 hours)

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.

• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
