Securitas is seeking a PT Security Officer in Plymouth, MN to help maintain a safe environment for clients. The role emphasizes access control, patrols, and adherence to post orders while providing customer service to employees and guests.

Ideal candidates will have 18+ with a HS diploma, strong communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Training, benefits, and daily tasks support a secure client site environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control and patrols.
• Enforce site regulations and directives for personnel and visitors.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazards and escalate when needed.
• Provide information and assistance to employees and guests; respond to emergencies.
• Complete post orders and shift tasks; operate security devices as needed.
• Conduct property tours and maintain a safe environment.

PT Security Officer

Primary Location: Plymouth, MN

Wage: $21.50/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.


• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.


• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.


• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.


• Conduct tours of the property.


• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.


• Must be able to work independently.


• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.


• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must have a professional demeanor.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.


• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and 10 year background investigation.


• Previous security experience preferred.


• Safe Driving certification.


• Infant, Child, and Adult CPR certification.
