Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets at the Eau Claire site. You will patrol, monitor systems, control access, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety protocols. The role requires calm judgment, strong observation, and customer-service orientation.

Eligible candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma/GED and basic tech skills. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and training with opportunities for advancement within the security team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement.

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Site Location: Eau Claire, WI

Wage: $18.50-$19.50/Hour

Schedule: Sun-Mon, Fri 0800-1600 (24 hours)

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
