Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Port Washington, WI seeks a full-time Security Officer to safeguard people, property and assets. You will patrol premises, monitor cameras and alarms, and control access while providing excellent customer service and rapid emergency response.

The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and observational skills. Training and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant on shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement.

Responsibilities

• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Security Officer — Full Time

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
