Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Denver, CO is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer to serve the community and protect client sites. Expect access control, patrols, rapid response to incidents, and detailed reporting as part of a customer‑service oriented security team.

Qualifications

• Basic requirements: 18+, HS diploma or GED, ability to complete GED within 6 months
• Standard computer/tech skills

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus
• Calm, professional interaction with a wide range of individuals
• Attention to detail and alertness during shifts
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, sound judgement

Responsibilities

Part‑Time Security Officer

Wage: $20.00-$23.25/HR

Locations: Denver, Aurora, & Boulder, CO

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
