Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for our clients across Boulder, Brighton, and Greeley, CO.

The position involves monitoring premises, access control, patrolling, and enforcing site regulations while delivering excellent customer service. Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues, hazards or suspicious activity.
• Enforce post orders and complete rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Write detailed reports and conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks of a similar nature for assigned site.

Primary Locations: Boulder, Brighton, & Greeley, CO

Wage Range: $17.00-$22.75/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Write detailed reports.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
