Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer in the Englewood, Denver, Aurora, and Frederick, CO area. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, performing access control, and patrolling client sites.

The role requires 18+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Pre-employment screening and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, law enforcement or military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and remain vigilant.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices during shift and write detailed reports.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required at site.

Primary Locations: Englewood, Denver, Aurora, & Frederick, CO

Wage Range: $20.50-$23.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Basic Requirements

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
